High-quality film faced plywood covered with a red colour durable melamine coating. Red Film faced plywood is known as Formwork Ply, Shuttering, Ply & Concrete Formwork is an exterior special plywood with two sides coated with a wearable & waterproof film. Used in building & construction projects.
 
Red Form Ply is lightweight, resistant to corrosion, easy to cut, and is multifunctional with other materials. The edges are fully covered with waterproof paint ensuring the ply is waterproof.
 
The high grade film ensures hardness, durability & resistance to damage. The surfaces are resistant to strong detergents, high temperatures and provide protection against termites etc.

The difference between the Red & Black plywoods are easy to distinguish. The black form plywood (aka film faced plywood) offers a smoother surface than the Red ply. The Red is usually painted with pigments and has a  rough surface. The material is selected according to the quality requirements.
 
In terms of quality, they are equal. The need for Red or Brown form-ply is 2-3 times lower than that of the film faced Black form-ply.
 
Red film faced plywood of equal quality and is cheaper per square than the Black film faced plywood.
